The CPD Business Development Coordinator will support the Business Development Manager in gathering product, resources, and information to implement upcoming and current key account projects. Their main responsibilities include maintaining project schedules and upcoming milestones and organizing product samples as needed throughout the project lifespan. The Coordinator will also need to be trained and become proficient with ERP and reporting systems of the company to assist other key stakeholders on projects and division where applicable.
Job DescriptionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the Business Development Manager in evaluating new and ongoing programs
- Utilize / Create / Maintain project management tools to track and manage sales programs and opportunities
- Work closely alongside the Business Development Manager with Product Development, Supply Chain and CPD Administration teams to procure accurate product details for customers as needed.
- Communicating Purchase Order quantities and timing to Supply Chain
- Working with Administration team to coordinate program details with Operations team and assist with shipping detail documents
- Manage project-related paperwork and ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Coordinate samples throughout programs to send to buyers for approval, as well as pre- and post- account Sales meetings.
- Work with Business Decelopment Manager to help foster an environment of ongoing learning
LIMIT OF AUTHORITY:
- Authority to spend within pre-approved budgets, monthly or otherwise as determined by operating practices of Company.
- Does not have authority to contractually bind Company.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 year degree preferred in related field of administration, business, sales and/or operations or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years experience in sales and/or project management administration or operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skiils, including time-management and multitasking skills.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Must be able to handle confidential information on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel independently within company headquarters and in other communities to attend various meetings or events as needed.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time. The staff member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The staff member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to converse verbally and in writing with others regarding Fortessa Tableware Solutions LLC products and services with co-workers, vendors and customers.
- Ability to work under stress, interruptions and tight deadlines.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret departmental operations and procedures.
- Ability to make notes from discussions (ie; company meetings, phone conversations, etc).
