Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Create targeted lists of potential clients and conduct outreach through calls, emails, and other lead-generation activities.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute business development events, such as hosting happy hours, including creating guest lists, sending personal invites, and coordinating logistics.
- Outreach and Follow-Up: Engage with potential clients through various channels to set up meetings and pass opportunities to senior team members.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team on mailings and other outreach initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage specific business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, client interactions, and event details.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Internship experience in business development or lead generation, preferably within the insurance industry, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently without micro-management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
