Role Summary
As the Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in our sales and marketing operations by managing CRM processes, prospecting for leads, and organizing in-person events. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact efforts while learning from senior leadership.
Role Responsibilities
CRM Management (HubSpot):
Maintain, update, and manage our HubSpot CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on prospects, clients, and partners.
Track relationship statuses and sales opportunities to generate actionable dashboards and KPIs for prioritizing sales efforts.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Conduct research to identify new prospects and leads using Linkedin Sales Navigator.
Execute outbound prospecting efforts, including personalized emails, calls, and social media outreach, to schedule meetings with potential clients and partners.
Collaborate with the CRO and CEO to refine outreach strategies and ensure alignment with sales goals.
Event Coordination:
Plan, organize, and manage logistics for 1–2 in-person events per month in NYC.
Coordinate with networking groups, sponsors, speakers, and venues to ensure seamless event execution.
Handle pre-event tasks, including sending out invites, following up with attendees, and confirming RSVPs.
Oversee day-of event logistics, including venue setup, AV management, and attendee check-ins.
Manage post-event follow-up, ensuring that attendee data is entered into HubSpot, and personalized follow-up messages are sent to both attendees and no-shows.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
1–5 years of relevant experience in sales support, business development, or event management preferred.
Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in the office three days per week.
Based in New York City or willing to relocate.
