*Hybrid - 3-4 days per week working remotely from home and 1-2 days per week in the field meeting with customers. Must live in the Charleston, SC area to be able to meet with customers locally.

“A Day in the Life:
Our Division, Mobile Modular Portable Storage, is currently looking for a top notch Business Development Associate. This is a career opportunity for a Sales Professional with a solid work ethic, exceptional character, a dynamic personality, and the strong desire to advance into leadership roles in the future. Candidates with experience in sales, business development, and strategy in the construction industry are preferred. This is an ideal position for a person who is service-oriented and is excited to get into the details to grow our business. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company and for actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.
“What You’ll Do”
- Identify new prospects, customers, and referral sources and develop/maintain relationships to ensure attainment of company business goals. Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources.
- Effectively present and discuss the product and services of the company to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs. Use professional proposal and presentation tools and writing.
- Actively manage short & long-term leads from external lead sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process.
- Develop a strategic sales plan that identifies prospects and customers, prioritizes them according to importance and ability to provide results. Take ownership of Key Account programs and grow revenue within this customer base.
- Qualify prospects and/or opportunities until point of quotation
- Perform market assessments, competitor analyses, and pricing strategies. Draw conclusions from market assessment data on the competitive environment and the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and targets, and provide advice to management.
- Develop annual marketing strategy and/or campaigns in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager. Identify joint marketing opportunities with Mobile Modular division, where applicable.
- Develop a call schedule to adequately cover territory and provide reports and data on results. Accountable for meeting activity goals and monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.

- Capacity to function autonomously and as a team member.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills. Is effective in variety of presentation situations; commands attention.
- PC proficiency in a Windows environment
- Experience with a CRM, Salesforce preferred
- Geographic flexibility for advancement is a plus
- BS/BA/BBA degree preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales
- Construction industry experience preferred
