About the Job
About the role: Reporting to the Director, Business Development, you will play a key role in Eagle Creek’s growth strategy pursuing strategic renewable energy acquisitions in the United States. Primary responsibilities include developing financial model and valuation analyses, conducting due diligence, analyzing market trends and technologies for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze energy investment opportunities.
- Assess project feasibility, risk, and return profiles to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant data for investment decision-making, ensuring seamless execution and integration of transactions.
- Create compelling presentations to communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead due diligence efforts for potential investments, including market research, regulatory analysis, and financial due diligence.
- Support the end-to-end deal execution process, from initial negotiation to closing.
- Prepare and present investment proposals/memos, financial reports, and performance updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Provide in-depth research on market dynamics and competitor activities to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated financial valuation experience in energy markets, investment banking, or private equity.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Renewable energy industry knowledge.
- Advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
