Compensation: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour**
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Business Development Assistant in the Sacramento area for a pioneering organization, committed to improving reproductive health outcomes. The company’s mission revolves around creating advanced carrier screening genetic tests that smoothly mesh with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems found in fertility clinics.
Client-highlighted qualifications - The ideal candidate will have previous experience with customer service, a background in Marketing, Business Management, or related programs, and verbal and written communication skills. Availability to work 40 hours per week.
About the job: The Business Development Assistant will collaborate closely with the CEO, playing a key role in advancing the groundbreaking genetic testing service. This role holds significant importance in understanding how fertility clinics access and utilize genetic information, and how integrating their services with an EHR system can ensure efficient healthcare delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive analysis of the carrier screening landscape and support the development of sales strategy for product launch
Complete weekly outreach to relevant healthcare stakeholders
Assist in developing a healthy sales pipeline for product launch
Generate new business opportunities through lead follow-up and prospecting of potential customers.
Be part of the beta testing of our software pipeline
Collaborate with managers to develop skills for a career in sales
Participate in other lead generation campaigns as defined by management
Assist in creating and developing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations in preparation for product launch
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current and future genomic trends
Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Qualifications:
At least one year of customer service experience
At least one year of experience in marketing in the healthcare industry
Undergraduate or graduating in a Marketing, Business Management, or related program is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Strong commitment to maintaining comprehensive knowledge of current and future genomic trends
Strong analytical skills to provide a comprehensive analysis of the carrier screening landscape
Able to attend conferences, industry gatherings, and client visits
Authorized to work in the US
Able to work in Sacramento, CA
