The Account Executive’s core responsibility is to identify high potential business opportunities for Bonneville San Francisco’s well-known brands: 96.5 KOIT, 99.7 NOW (KMVQ), 102.9 KBLX, and 98.5 KFOX. As an Account Executive, you will customize and build creative strategic plans and business opportunities that drive real results for our clients. You will drive revenue through pipeline management, lead generation, client calls, meetings, and client entertainment.
Our fast-paced sales team has an infectious drive to exceed individual and team revenue goals. We are interested in talking to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. The ideal candidate for this position is independent and self-motivated, and will confidently represent our brands.
Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.
- This position is a hybrid role that requires the employee to sometimes work at our San Francisco location in Daly City. Specific hybrid schedules will be determined based on business needs and evaluated by mangers and senior management.
- Required to be onsite for group meetings, trainings, and 1:1’s.
- In-person meetings with clients are expected.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hunt for and develop new broadcast, event, and digital business
- Seek new business opportunities through cold calling via phone, email, and in-person
- Service and grow relationships in existing client base
- Achieve established revenue expectations across multiple platforms
- Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual budgets in legacy and digital media brands
- Prospect and identify revenue opportunities, secure meetings with high-level decision makers and influencers, create broadcast and digital sales packages, present to clients, and close the sale
- Build a strategic marketing plan for your client(s) that focuses on customer understanding, relationship building and driving revenue
- Deliver creative and effective sales presentations
- Create holistic digital marketing solutions with the ability to manipulate and calculate pricing structures utilizing CPM (cost per thousand) and CPC (cost per click)
- Create fully integrated marketing campaigns to deliver strong ROI for clients utilizing both traditional radio and digital extension
- Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis
- Work collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue
- Ensure that time management is used when handling all accounts
- Participate in training to enhance professional skills and overall understanding of new and evolving media.
- Fully participate in CRM (Client Relationship Management) system
- Attend station events to assist with client(s) set-up and ensure all elements of sponsorship are delivered
- Be an expert and an ambassador of our Brands
- Ability to organize, analyze and interpret statistical data to draw conclusions from findings
- Ability to work with moderate supervision
- Capable and willing to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments
- Passion for professional excellence and integrity with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm
- Remain current on industry trends in broadcast and digital media, including display, mobile, OTT, and video
- Maintain a valid driver's license and proven ability to safely drive personal vehicle without exposing Company to serious liability risks
