We are seeking an exceptionally motivated, team-oriented, high achiever with a relational approach and empathic, strategic mindset to join a passionate team charged with developing business and driving growth in key markets. The ideal candidate must possess a ten+ year track record of success with increasing relationships and generating revenue through conceptual and/or technical sales within the electronic security and/or self-service industry. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively making meaningful connections, and establish themselves as a trusted advisor to end users, channel partners, and technology partners through a positive consistent presence at tradeshows, in-person meetings, virtual meetings, presentations, phone calls, and email correspondence. Existing network in banking, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or self-service is highly preferred.
Reporting to the President, this role provides significant opportunity to join a diverse team passionately pursing excellence, and driving technology deployments on a global scale. Development efforts will be supported by high-performing marketing, sales support, and technical teams working collaboratively to help generate proposals, presentations, collateral, videos, email campaigns, social media, and more. Over the trailing three years the sales team has achieved an 85% close ratio of deals quoted. Impactful written and verbal communication and presentation skills are a necessity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish new account relationships by scheduling WebEx and face-to-face meetings and presentations.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team targeting company's outreach via email, social media, presentations, videos, and tradeshow events.
- Manage all activities through CRM software and identify scalable ways to generate interest and attract clients.
- Collect and develop client product/solution requirements with the assistance of our technical sales staff, for client presentations and proposals.
- Assist and collaborate with technical staff on the optimal client's/prospect's solution.
- Develop, implement and report monthly on a personal strategic business development plan.
- Stay current on client needs, competition, and industry trends to effectively align competitive positioning.
- Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations and tradeshow events.
- Strive to exceed the company's closing ratio.
- Promote and uphold the company values, reputation, and culture
- Possess aptitude and attitude to rapidly learn industries, technologies, applications, and solutions
- Support lead generation, strategic planning, sales presentations, and ongoing relationship building
- Leverage a variety of tools including LinkedIn, videos, to manage the business development process
- Host site visits to cultivate strategic account relationships and partnerships
- Other duties as assigned/required.
Qualifications:
- Professional composure, composition, and communication skills.
- Provide weekly updates on business development activities through CRM.
- Provide exceptional service on client issue escalation/follow-up with clients & prospects.

- Demonstrate an excellent record of building successful/profitable business relationships.
- Possess an outgoing, energetic, positive, resourceful, and creative behavior.
- Possess a high degree of adaptability, transparency, organization, planning, and accountability.
- Proficient with MS Office and Contact Relationship Management software.
- Willing to travel.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
- 10 years Business Development experience
- Speak and write multiple languages a plus.
Based pay range $75k - $125k/year plus commission. Company credit card provided for travel expenses as well as mileage reimbursement if personal transportation is utilized. Great medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and gym reimbursement of $200/6 months.
