Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience using Python for statistical/ML modeling.
- Experience in building dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to track results of ML tools.
- Experience in SQL and building training datasets for statistical models.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Experience with time series forecasting, including ML-based multivariate and multi-series models.
- Familiarity with principles of supply chain or business operations.
- Ability to realize impact with a statistical tool while navigating complex business processes impacting multiple parts of a matrixed organization.

As a Business Data Scientist, you will drive solutioning for some of our problems in supply chain and business operations. You will be responsible for project scoping with business stakeholders, analyzing and building massive datasets, developing production-ready statistical tools, visualizing and presenting model performance, and facilitating system integration and user adoption of the solutions. You will be tasked with navigating ambiguity and chaos as you guide long-term projects all the way from ideation to impact.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify key business problems that can feasibly be solved using data science methods.
- Develop SQL scripts and ETL pipelines using a variety of traditional as well as large-scale distributed data systems.
- Write Python scripts to analyze large data sets, perform feature engineering, and train/test/track AI/ML models.
- Develop dashboards to facilitate reporting and tracking of AI/ML models.
- Partner with system architects and application engineers to integrate production models into systems.
