Job description:
We are looking for a BA with at least 5+ years of IT experience and strong data (SQL) skills.
Top Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst gathering and documenting requirements
- Extensive experience working with SQL - Select statements, complex joins, outer join, etc. Must be able to query a database (Database experience does not have to be with Oracle it can be with any type of database)
- Exceptional Excel experience - Formulas, Pivot tables, V-look up, etc.
- Technical Business Analyst role will be responsible for implementation of product enhancements and production support of ConsumerConnection. Triage of incidents, change requests and support tasks and data analysis as it relates to production support.
Job Functions:
- Support all operational aspects of the ConsumerConnection product.
- Investigate new/unknown/existing issues in ConsumerConnection. Clearly document all findings in the issue tracking system.
- Utilize issue tracking system (JIRA) daily.
- Provide feedback to the clients and technology managers.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to assist in evaluating production performance and resolving issues.
- Provide support for and minor enhancements to reports utilized by the QC process.
- Work with other teams on issue resolution
- Participate in daily support triage meetings and other regular meetings as required.
- Participate in documentation of support processes and methods
- Maintain current set of FordDirect's existing documentation
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with at least three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong SQL knowledge – need to have experience writing SQL queries from scratch.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
- Experience creating/executing queries in Databricks environment is a plus.
- Oracle experience is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Experience within a customer or technical support environment.
- Exemplary professional demeanor, resourcefulness, flexibility, and self-motivation.
- Advanced judgment and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high stress/fast paced work environment.
- Proven data driven decision-making skills
- This person will be supporting ConsumerConnection. Consumer Connection is a marketing product that the Dealers participate in and essentially is what they use to communicate directly to Ford & Lincoln customers.
- ConsumerConnection is a platform/database the houses all of the consumer data so that FordDirect can send data to the third party companies they work with. FordDirect works with Marketing Associates and Epsilon to send out direct marketing information to the customers either digitally or paper mail.
- This person will be supporting new enhancements to this platform as well as providing day-to-day support. They will be responsible for writing requirements around issues they encounter with the database as well as be responsible for querying the database.
