Job Description:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Position Requirements:
* Customer Service experience
* Solar/Net Metering/Interconnection knowledge or experience
* Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
* Educating customers about green power options and corresponding programs/services (at ComEd, the state, nationally)
* Includes significant interface with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face
* Support and manage the net metering application and enrollment process as it aligns with the legislative requirements. This includes corresponding and interacting with internal and external groups and customers to ensure customer accounts are appropriately assigned to net metering
* Monitor, interface, and coordinate activities with internal and external groups to ensure proper meter exchanges, submit billing requests, and completion of the enrollment process. Correspond with customers to ensure that required forms and agreements are completed and returned by the customer
