ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY | Commercial / Business Litigation

Seeking a 5+ years' Associate Attorney with experience in Commercial and Business Litigation, for a well-established, reputable Houston law firm. The ideal candidate to have strong writing skills, attention to detail, experience in high-volume case management. A resourceful, time-efficient individual will thrive here for future career growth opportunities into more complex commercial and high-dollar cases. This firm offers a collegial work environment with a team of skilled business attorneys practicing in sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation.
Responsibilities/Duties and Experience preferred:
- Emphasis on commercial litigation from case inception to resolution
- Courtroom experience; 2-3 years of trial experience a plus
- Discovery and motion practice through mediation and trial
- Conduct legal research and provide written analysis; draft legal pleadings
- Taken/defended depositions, mediations, evidentiary hearings
Position is daily in-office. Offering competitive base DOE from $130K- $150K+ and performance-based bonus; full suite benefits; 401K.
