Are you a skilled attorney with a passion for business and real estate law, seeking a dynamic opportunity in a small firm setting? We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Business Transactions: Handle a variety of business transactions, including contract drafting and negotiation, business formations, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
Real Estate Transactions: Manage real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, leasing agreements, zoning issues, and land use matters. Provide legal advice on real estate development projects.
Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients. Stay informed about changes in business and real estate laws.
Client Consultations: Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and provide tailored legal solutions. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Contract Review: Review and analyze contracts related to business and real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting clients' interests.
Litigation Support: Provide support in business and real estate litigation matters, collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Michigan State Bar.
Proven experience in business and real estate law, preferably in a small firm setting.
Strong understanding of business and real estate transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team.
