Summary
The Business Analytics Lead Analyst will be an individual contributor responsible for supporting the analytics strategy for Medicare Health Services, performing research and analysis within the Clinical Analytics team. This role will help us accomplish this through data-driven analytics, strategic insights, and collaboration with our internal partners. In addition, this person will be responsible to identify opportunities for our clinical partners to meet our goal of reducing costs and increasing quality of care to our members. This individual will need to work collaboratively with key technical and non-technical matrix partners to provide analytical reporting for use in evaluation of our clinical programs.
Responsibilities
+ Perform analytics processes, including data and analytic development. Ensure code is appropriately documented and can be understood by other analysts
+ Analyze results and present analytics in a consumable method using overview, major takeaways, major questions, and next steps; ensure analytic approach and results are clearly understood and communicated to business partners
+ Exhibit full understanding of data and leverage data in an appropriate way (correct sources, clear assumptions, approved by business)
+ Develop high impact reporting and analytics using SQL, Teradata, Tableau
+ Provide consultation to health services partners regarding the meaning of data and how to best utilize the information to solve business problems
+ Prepare data and reports for use in health services presentations to providers, and internal business partners
+ Demonstrate healthcare experience in quantifying, measuring and analyzing financial and utilization metrics
+ Simultaneously manage multiple assignments, working independently and with other teams and analysts
Qualifications
+ 2+ years' increasingly complex database and data management with SQL and/or Teradata
+ Experience with claims analytics and/or clinical data
+ Experience with business intelligence visualization software; Tableau preferred
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations, driving outstanding results
+ Strong verbal/written communication skills to work with various matrix partners, such as actuary, medical economics, clinical leaders, and IT
+ Willingness to learn and apply new skills to improve processes
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 76,700 - 127,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
