This is a temporary contract opportunity with The Cigna Group through Magnit, an enterprise third-party vendor for contingent work.

Role Overview: 35649509 Business Analytics Analyst

Delivers professional activities in the Business Analytics job family.

Analyzes data to inform business and product decisions.

Conducts data mining, routine analyses and compiles standard reports.

Blends historical data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources as input to analyses.

Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas.

Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review.

May provide guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior members of the team in Business Analytics.

SKILLS:

SQL proficiency, required

Excel proficiency, required

Programming languages (Python and/ or R), required

4+ years' relevant experience

Data cleaning and preparation

Statistical analysis

Data visualization using tools (Tableau and/ or Power BI)

Programming languages (Python and/ or R)

Alteryx knowledge, a strong plus

Healthcare or Insurance industry, a plus

Critical thinking

Communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferred

Completed High School (Diploma or GED) required

LOCATION & SCHEDULE:
Morris Plains, NJ

Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday onsite

Local Candidates commutable within 30 miles of Morris Plains, NJ location.

M-F 8am-5pm EST

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $36.00-$46.00/hr
