Business Analyst – Process Flow & Documentation

Job Summary:
Looking for a mid/senior-level Business Analyst to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will focus on documenting process flows, gathering requirements, and creating technical documentation for developers. You will work closely with the Director of Technology and play a key role in driving successful project execution for our web-based projects. This role requires the ability to come into the office 4 days a week, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, particularly in the telecommunications space.
- Process Flow Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process flow diagrams and documentation to support web development projects.
- Functional Specifications: Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Project Management: Work within an Agile environment, utilizing Visio, SharePoint, and Asana to manage project workflows and track progress.
- Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical development team to ensure accurate communication and delivery of project goals.
- Testing & Validation: Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new features meet documented requirements.
- Telecommunication Focus: Leverage experience in telecommunications to enhance project outcomes and improve stakeholder communication.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with preferred experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio), project management software (SharePoint, Asana), and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve project issues quickly.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with web development technologies and wireframing tools is a plus.
