Overview:

The Business Analyst with ERP IFS is a crucial role within the organization, ensuring that business needs are met through effective utilization of the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position involves working closely with various stakeholders, including management and IT teams, to define requirements, analyze processes, and facilitate project implementations for system enhancements. As a part of a dynamic team, the Business Analyst acts as a bridge between technical and non-technical team members, translating user requirements into actionable system functionalities. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and ERP systems, particularly IFS, to provide insights that drive operational efficiencies and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

Gather business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.

Analyze existing functional processes and workflows.

Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure ERP IFS configuration meets business needs.

Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of system enhancements.

Provide training and support to end-users on the IFS ERP system.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Assist in the development of project plans and timelines.

Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes and enhancements.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, changes, and project statuses.

Support data migration and system integration activities as required.

Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.

Facilitate meetings to communicate project updates and solicit stakeholder feedback.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor system performance indicators to identify areas for enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically with ERP systems.

Hands-on experience with IFS ERP software is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of business process mapping and analysis techniques.

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Understanding of project management methodologies.

Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and management.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to ERP systems.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience in training and supporting end-users effectively.

Certifications in business analysis or project management are a plus.
