Business Analyst at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract Job with a client in Thousand Oaks, CA. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Benchling, the life sciences/pharma industry, and the drug discovery and research domain.

Rate Range: $45-$52/hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Partner closely with Research & Development Informatics teams and bench scientists to create and document business rules for high-quality data capture solutions in Benchling.

• Provide real-time support for common data entry processes and test newly developed features before deployment.

• Develop a process to track data quality and analyze metrics on data entry accountability.

• Maintain documentation for user guides, FAQs, and data entry best practices in Benchling.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in life sciences, computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in using Benchling in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

• Strong understanding of scientific processes on data collection hierarchy and analysis using Benchling or other LIMS.

• Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of Data Analyst experience, Associates degree & 4 years of Data Analyst experience, or High school diploma/GED & 6 years of Data Analyst experience.

• Strong written and oral communication skills. Outstanding attention to detail for documentation.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $52.00 per hour
