Business Analyst- Technical - Smart IMS. Inc

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst - (2) Technical positions

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

• Support resource for data migration and conversion activities;
• Documenting business processes and requirements around data conversion approaches;
• Translate requirements into functional and technical designs, including implementing stories and process flows;
• Recommend eliminating, retaining, or enhancing business processes and documenting those results.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• Four (4) years experience in data migration, cleansing and conversion projects;
• Three (3) years experience in data analysis using SQL queries to assist with the technical design effort, data cleansing effort and resolution of bugs/defects;
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs;
• Ability to create complex SQL queries.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

• Experience with Corrections processes;
• Ability to understand complex business problems;
• Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues;
• Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and legacy systems
• Understanding of database platforms and database design.
