Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business analysis and systems development. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing our business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to understand our business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze existing systems and workflows to determine their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop detailed as-is and to-be process models to illustrate current and future states.
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including use cases, business rules, and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with data migration and development teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate system functionality and ensure quality.
- Provide oversight and review deliverables to ensure compliance with established standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in business/systems analysis and software development projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio.
- Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps and Power BI.
- Familiarity with data migration and change/release management processes.
- Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance tools and techniques.
- Experience with Florida Department of Transportation systems and applications.
- Understanding of Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code.

Hybrid Work Schedule:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing flexibility while maintaining in-person collaboration. You will be expected to work in the office a minimum of three days per week, with the remaining days eligible for remote work.
