Lange Companies is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our Team.

In this position, we are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, business intelligence, and process automation. The role focuses on using automation to improve efficiency and providing reporting to support operations and decision-making. Light project management experience is a plus. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and drive project success.

This opportunity is available in the following location: St. Louis, MO.

This role reports to the VP of IT.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and objectives.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather detailed requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for IT teams.
Analyze and document current business processes and workflows.
Identify areas for process optimization and automation.
Develop clear and concise process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
Leverage BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to analyze, visualize, and automate data-driven workflows.
Oversee and contribute to the creation of automated reporting systems and dashboards that deliver real-time insights to stakeholders.
Support strategic decision-making with actionable data while prioritizing accurate and accessible reporting for daily operations.
Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation and implement solutions to streamline processes.
Monitor automated systems to ensure reliability and adjust workflows as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
Contribute to project management tasks such as planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables.
Support the testing and validation of solutions to ensure alignment with requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
Present findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project goals, progress, and outcomes.
Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business intelligence.
Familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and basic process automation platforms (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, or Power Automate).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Light experience in project management or exposure to project methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMI).
Knowledge of SQL or other querying languages.
Experience designing and implementing process automation solutions.
