About the Job
Maximus is looking for someone to fill a Business Analyst - Robotic Process Automation position. The Robotic Process Automation Engineer is required to develop and implement robotic process automation that will increase efficiency within MAXIMUS operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe current state processes in Maximus operations to identify automation candidates.
- Design/develop/test robotic process automation.
- Facilitate change management and implementation planning efforts.
- Assist with post implementation analysis and validation activities
- Support solutioning for Maximus proposals.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferred field of study including Information Technology, Software Development or industrial Engineering; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience required.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation Tools, such as UIPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prizm
- Automation Anywhere certification preferred.
- Salesforce system experience preferred.
- Core background in IT and Software Development, including experience with key programming languages, compilers and operating systems.
- Testing experience, with Test Plan creation, CIT, SIT and UAT experience (Testers often better understand end to end process of how something works).
- Process improvement, process design or process development experience (Secondary to technical skills).
- Proven results in process improvement and automation (reduction in cycle time, transport, labor, SLA adherence, etc).
- Must reside in the U.S. (Per client requirement must have resided in US for past 3 years)
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.
Home Office Requirements:
- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection
- Internet download speed of 25mbps single user/50mbps shared and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
- Private work area and adequate power source
Minimum Requirements

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
