Job Title: Business Analyst - Real-World Evidence Generation (Pharma)
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in real-world evidence generation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in evidence generation practices, and will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance our evidence generation processes and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in real-world evidence generation, understanding the nuances of evidence generation processes and workflows within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Business-IT Liaison: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, effectively communicating business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Must possess the ability to converse fluently in both functional and technical language.
- Solution Implementation: Support the implementation of a SaaS solution for digitizing evidence generation processes, overseeing integrations with existing systems, and optimizing global business workflows.
- Global Process Optimization: Collaborate with regional and global teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing regional needs and nuances.
- Feature Development: Work closely with technology partners to drive the development of features and functionalities within the SaaS solution, prioritizing business needs and enhancing user experience.
- User Story Development: Assist in crafting user stories to articulate business requirements and guide software development efforts. While primary responsibility lies in understanding business imperatives, the ability to draft user stories is advantageous.
- Synergy Creation: Identify synergies between regions and countries in evidence-generation practices, aiming to streamline processes and bridge gaps to create a unified solution.
- Requirement Handover: Document and communicate business requirements effectively, facilitating the handover to other business analysts for user story development while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
- Business Representation: Serve as the primary business representative when engaging with IT teams, articulating the business vision, and ensuring that technical solutions align with strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Life Sciences, Information Technology).
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on real-world evidence generation.
Strong understanding of evidence-generation processes, global pharmaceutical regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
Experience with SaaS solutions, business process optimization, and data visualization techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and user story development practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and drive results through influence and negotiation.
Note: While technical expertise is not the primary focus of this role, a foundational understanding of IT concepts and the ability to liaise effectively with technical teams are essential for success in this position.
