About the Job
Job Requirements:
- Own project/program delivery for programs assigned
- Create business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, JIRA tickets, project plans, resource allocation charts and other project documents
- Manage and track progress of project tasks, address ad-hoc data requests from users
- Work with internal development teams and external business partners to identify scope and define approach as well as execute on key deliveries
- Manage the day to day project deliverables including providing project status updates to sr. mgmt.
- Ability to do deep dives into issues to help drive resolution
- Highlight, escalate and resolve issues, conflicts and roadblocks
- Translate and communicate infrastructure and client business priorities
- Knowledge of development and infrastructure process lifecycles
- Manage expectations of both infrastructure management and clients
- Strong interest in or knowledge of infrastructure technology e.g. servers, storage; networks, grid, etc.
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience (7 years or more preferred), with 2 years minimum in a combined BA and PM role in a Financial Institution
- Very strong presentation skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Experience of working with cross-functional and global teams with dynamic business requirements
- Strong general consulting/project skills ( ability to help clients define requirements, write statement of work, marshal resources, project management, scope control, risk management)
- Good understanding of all asset classes and basic risk concepts
- Good understanding of business and data flows
- Experience with project management and project reporting tools
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of trade life cycle, risk management and front to back office flows
- Experience delivering solutions for regulatory projects
