Role Description ::
1. Change Management Strategy:" Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to support the implementation of the Microsoft Data Classification project." Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify potential resistance points and change impacts." Create a communication plan to effectively convey the benefits and importance of the Data Classification to employees at all levels.2. Stakeholder Engagement:" Engage with key stakeholders from several functional areas and countries (different time zones), including senior management, project team members, and end-users, to build awareness and support for the Data Classification initiative." Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster collaboration.3. Training and Education:" Assess training needs and develop a training program for employees on data classification principles, processes, and tools." Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials, user guides, and FAQs to support user adoption." Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure stakeholders have a solid understanding of the new Data Classification standard and how/why to use the Data Classification labeling function.4. Change Impact Assessment:" Identify and assess the impact of the Data Classification initiative on existing processes, systems, and workflows." Work closely with functional areas (E.g., R&D, HR, Finance, etc.) to understand their specific requirements and tailor the implementation approach accordingly." Provide guidance and recommendations on process improvements to align with the Data Classification standard.5. Lessons Learned and Best Practices:" Leverage previous implementation experiences in organizations like Alcoa to identify lessons learned, best practices, and potential pitfalls." Share insights and recommendations based on industry trends and emerging technologies in Data Classification and protection.6. Monitoring and Evaluation:" Develop metrics and measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness and success of the Data Classification implementation." Regularly monitor adoption rates, user feedback, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement." Make data-driven recommendations and adjustments to enhance the implementation process.

The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful adoption of the Microsoft Data Classification and its related Data Classification Policy/Standard, contributing with their expertise and lessons learned from previous implementations in organizations like Alcoa. This is a temporary position for the duration of the project.
