Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with IT experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize operations. You will also work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to help successfully guide a project from initiation through closure.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders using interviews, workshops, and other techniques
Determine the business analysis deliverables produced, activities performed, work estimates developed, and identify the management tools required to measure the progress of those activities and deliverables
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and guide the implementation of new processes, systems, and solutions
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Support the development and implementation of IT solutions, leveraging your IT background
Offer support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle by applying soft skills such as conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and communication skills to manage the expectations of the stakeholders
Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify potential areas for improvement
Assist with the creation and delivery of training materials and user documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with IT-related experience
Familiarity with business process modeling and requirements gathering methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Visio
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Agile and Waterfall project management methodology experience is a plus
