This role offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in project delivery for a large federal financial government client. Your first project will be a temporary surge support help desk for the government client, providing Tier 1 customer service support. Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Support:
- Provide Tier 1 support, solve technical issues, and escalate when needed
- Focus on dellivering a positive customer experience
• Triage and Issue Identification:
- Triage issues to identify the root cause and inform the next steps towards bug/issue remediation
• Documentation:
- Record all service requests and monitor issues to ensure they are resolved
- Identify workarounds to common problems and document in Standard Operating Procedures
- Analyze Top 10 issues on weekly basis to inform next steps such as usability improvements, additional user guidance, etc.
• Tools:
- Use JIRA and Confluence for ticket managment to thoroughly document all service requests in a repeatable way to ensure consistent reporting to the client
- Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
• Collaboration: Team player who works with team to streamline business processes and team efficiency
• Training: Help with training and communication for team members and clients
• Conduct reserch and analysis on project initiatives, providing analytics across key project and business metrics
• Curate content and project repositories to support technical writing and internal proposal development
• Provide program management support to project and capture managers
• Work effectively with team to gather, analyze and present data findings, ensuring clear communication of recommendations to stakeholders

• Due to federal requirements, only U.S. Citizens can be considered for this role. Additionally, selected candidates will be required to pass a Public Trust government background investigation.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
• 1+ years of general experience required.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office products including Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage project life cycles by contributing to planning, execution, and evaluation phases, while adhering to established timelines and quality standards.
• Must be a highly motivated, reliable self-starter that can be counted on to complete assignments with minimal oversight.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Must have good time management skills and ability to multi-task; able to adapt to new requirements and readjust as needed to complete an assignment.

Desired skills:
• Experience with technical consulting services, information technology or in a similar industry.
• Experience with Agile framework - Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Agile framework certification is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis using tools such as SQL, MS Excel and Tableau.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
