Description:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements to support digital product development, integration, enhancement, and maintenance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional agile teams, ensuring clarity on requirements, and driving successful project execution while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Collect and document comprehensive business, functional, and technical requirements.
Create and manage user stories for agile teams, focusing on product development and system integration.
Write test acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA teams to build and execute test plans.
Work closely with product owners, team leads, and stakeholders to define business rules and analytics to enhance the digital portfolio.
Guide teams on understanding requirements, deliverables, and dependencies while ensuring alignment with the end vision.
Prioritize and groom product backlogs in collaboration with product owners.
Assist end users in creating and executing User Acceptance Test plans.
Collaborate with QA engineers to design test automation and execute test cases when needed.
Facilitate communication with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Lead business planning sessions during the software release cycle to align with strategic objectives.
Required Skills:
Experience in collecting and managing requirements for digital products.
Proficiency in agile development environments and application lifecycle management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
Hands-on experience with writing test cases, acceptance criteria, and supporting QA activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills:
Experience with airline operations or crew scheduling systems.
Solid understanding of software development and web technologies.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications.
