Rate Range: $60-$65/Hr on C2C and $55/Hr on W2



Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in Fixed Income markets to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of financial products and services, especially within the realm of fixed income investments, and will have a proven track record in gathering business requirements, analyzing complex data, and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., traders, portfolio managers, risk teams) to understand their needs and challenges related to fixed income investments.
• Document and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system requirements.
• Analyze data and financial models to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within fixed income products.

• Gain a deep understanding of the organization’s fixed income offerings, including bonds, treasury bills, mortgage-backed securities, and other related instruments.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and industry best practices affecting fixed income products and the broader financial market.

• Perform in-depth analysis on fixed income portfolio performance, yield curves, interest rate risk, and other key metrics.
• Produce detailed reports on performance, risk, compliance, and regulatory factors influencing fixed income investments.
• Utilize financial modeling tools and data analysis software to support investment decision-making.

• Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline processes related to fixed income trading, reporting, and portfolio management.
• Work closely with the IT department to ensure the development and enhancement of technology solutions that support fixed income operations.

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that all parties are aligned and that solutions meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure the successful implementation of new systems, tools, or processes.

• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) of new systems or enhancements related to fixed income functionality.
• Ensure that business requirements are fully met by testing and validating the performance of systems before deployment.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
• Work with compliance and risk teams to ensure that fixed income products and operations comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Monitor fixed income portfolios for any compliance or risk issues and propose corrective actions.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a financial services or investment banking environment with a focus on fixed income markets.
• Fixed Income Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fixed income instruments, market conventions, and trading strategies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, performance metrics, and complex business problems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with financial modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, VBA), and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
