Career Opportunity: Business Analyst
Location: Littleton, MA (On-site hybrid)
This position will be based out of our Little Headquarters.
Compensation: The salary range for this role is between $85,000- $95,000 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
Position Summary: The Business Analyst (BA) role bridges the gap between business needs and technological solutions. The BA will gather and analyze business requirements, support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and ensure that solutions align with strategic objectives. This position focuses on driving process improvements, supporting project execution, and enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
General Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Elicit and document business, technical, and functional requirements through interviews, surveys, workshops, and observation.
- Gather requirements through surveys, questionnaires, interviews, one-on-one meetings, user stories, brainstorming sessions, process diagramming, follow-up meetings, and workshops
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope and objectives of projects to ensure alignment with business goals.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements that can be used for solution design and development.
Ensure requirements are validated by stakeholders and are accurately documented.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Identify and engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Process Improvement & Change Management
Analyze current business processes and recommend enhancements that drive efficiency, reduce risk, and support strategic objectives.
Request for Proposal (RFP) Support & Vendor Selection
Assist in developing RFPs by gathering and documenting the necessary business requirements.
Support the evaluation of vendor proposals by ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
Other Duties:
Manage one or more Executive Administrative Assistants to support with all efforts within the function.
Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures, which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
Participates in department and/or organizational projects as directed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
2-3 years of experience in a business analyst or related role, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the banking industry.
