An average day:
As Business Analyst III, you will serve as a key member of the Program Management Team supporting IT operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements for enterprise IT services and network operations. You will drive the implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency, maintain security compliance, and facilitate project success. Additionally, in this position you will:
Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to elicit and document business and technical needs and objectives.
Analyze and model business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documentation (BRD), functional specifications, and process flows following DOD documentation standards.
Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and clients to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders at various organizational levels to drive consensus on proposed changes.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including status reports, risk assessments, impact analyses, and other required project artifacts.
Participate in the design and development of training materials and user documentation to support system implementations.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a PMO role supporting DOD contracts.
Understanding of DOD acquisition lifecycle and milestone requirements.
Experience with enterprise project management tools.
Knowledge of data modeling and process mapping techniques.
Familiarity with database concepts and data analysis (e.g., SQL, Excel).
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
Experience with compliance and regulatory standards in a federal context (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility or have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Will be subject to a federal background investigation.
