About the Job
- Analyze and document requirements and business processes
- Business Analyst II will assist in development of systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies
- Assist in creation of technical and functional user documentation
- Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs
- Follow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development and deployment of solutions
- Maintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers as necessary
- Assist in gathering business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications
- As a Business Analyst II, you will identify and document process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required; ISEB-qualified Business Analyst preferred
- 1+ years of IT business analyst experience
- Previous experience of working in an Agile environment and using recognized development methodology, e.g., Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
- Proficient in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes
- Broad understanding of software development methodologies
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Moderate facilitation skills
- Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Written communication skills including process documentation
- Proven project management skills
- Business requirements gathering
- Broad technical understanding across various methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
