Position Summary: NextEra Energy is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordinator for a contingent worker role to support the testing process of our Salesforce Field Service system. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, with hands-on experience in preparing test scripts, managing test cases in Q-Metry, logging defects in Jira, and effectively reporting on testing processes. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing: Collaborate with stakeholders to define UAT scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria for the Salesforce Field Service system. Prepare Test Scripts: Develop comprehensive test scripts based on business requirements and use cases. Ensure test scripts cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the Salesforce Field Service system. Test Management System (Q-Metry): Load and manage test cases and scripts within Q-Metry. Maintain detailed and accurate records of test activities, ensuring all documentation is up to date. Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using Jira. Work closely with the development and QA teams to prioritize and resolve issues. Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall test coverage. Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders regarding UAT outcomes and system readiness. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for UAT activities. Facilitate meetings, walkthroughs, and reviews with business users and IT teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in a software testing or UAT coordination role. Hands-on experience with test management tools like Q-Metry and bug tracking systems like Jira. Previous experience testing Salesforce Field Service or similar CRM systems is highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices. Understanding of the energy industry and field service operations. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts. |
