Business Analyst
The Business Analyst will support Aon’s Affinity Insurance Services group in the AICPA Insurance Programs Department. This position is responsible for providing analytical and technical support to the business community through the development of programs that provide solutions to business problems.
This is a hybrid role working from our Fort Washington, PA office two to three days per week.

What the day will look like:
- Works with the business group to document and map the current-state business processes and to translate business needs into formal, documented business requirements.
- Partners with the Project Manager, Business Unit and leaders on assigned technology projects to understand project scope.
- Maintains an acceptable level of technical proficiency in business system platforms in order to understand the interdependencies between the business and technical environments.
- Responsible to work thru Agile/Scrum and/or SDLC -System Development Life Cycle with offshore to ensure business requirements are being met.
- Create and execute test plans. Manage testing resources and document results.
- Works on multiple projects in different phases at one time.
- Supports creation, tracking and resolution of defects noted for all in scope system applications.
- Key accountability is to create business requirements/user storis for assigned projects.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 2+ years of Business Analyst or related work experience
- Work experience in the Insurance or Finance industry
- Agile/Scrum experience or training preferred
- Business Analyst or related course work preferred
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
- College degree or equivalent work experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 – $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
