Job Description: Senior Business Analyst (Finance, Insurance, and Corporate Retirement Solutions)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and specialized Senior Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in Finance, Insurance, and Corporate Retirement solutions.The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders, analyze business requirements, and ensure the successful development and enhancement of the Client's platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed specifications for the development and enhancements.
- Act as an intermediary between different stakeholders, ensuring their concerns are addressed and project objectives are met.
- Maintain clear and concise communication of project requirements and updates.
- Requirements Analysis and Documentation
- Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive requirement documents.
- Document business processes and requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gain agreement on requirements and resolve any contentious issues.
Workflow and System Analysis
- Analyze existing workflows and systems, recommending changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough analysis and planning to minimize the impact of potential threats on business operations.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to the development team throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Finance, Insurance, and Corporate Retirement solutions.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience with requirement management tools such as JIRA or similar.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Finance, Insurance, and Corporate Retirement solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of US financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
