Senior Business Analyst

Position Summary:

• Software Business analyst interested in joining a highly motivated team focused on delivering results that meet business initiatives.
  
  
• Conduct business process analysis, work with end users to gather and analyze business needs, propose solutions, design/implement approved solutions and support implemented solutions.

Position Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Provide full service and support for the assigned business applications, related processes, and software areas
  
  
• Provide training, and documentation as needed for end users
  
  
• Gather, compile, and interpret information regarding business changes, summarize and recommend appropriate course of action, and then implement approved solutions
  
  
• Translate business requirements into appropriate system development form and write supporting technical documentation
  
  
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of custom and COTS software applications.
  
  
• Establish and maintain project plans, and manage/lead projects.

Requirements:

Knowledge /Ability

• 5-10 years of experience building, supporting and maintaining enterprise systems and processes.
  
  
• Minimum Five (5) years of experience working directly with end users/business owners, supporting their application needs, proposing and implementing solutions, and providing customer service.
  
  
• Minimum Five (5) years of solid experience working with SQL Server databases creating tables, writing queries, views, triggers, functions and setting up jobs.
  
  
• Good understanding with working knowledge of.NET/C# programming.
  
  
• Experience working with reporting tools that include SSRS, Excel and Power BI.
  
  
• Experience creating and working with SSIS packages.
  
  
• Quick learner eager to rapidly acquire new skills and knowledge of business systems.
  
  
• Good troubleshooting and analysis skills with ability to take on business problems and provide solutions.
  
  
• Proficient in documenting systems and processes.
  
  
• Communicate clearly orally and in writing with all levels.
  
  
• Experience working and collaborating in a team environment.

Technical Skills

• Minimum Five (5) years of experience working with SQL Server databases and T-SQL programming.
  
  
• Practical experience creating reports using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel and Power BU.
  
  
• Practical experience building/maintaining ETL packages using SQL Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) framework.

Education /certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  
  
• Master's degree preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
  
  
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
