Business Analyst (Consultant) - AG Consulting Partners

As a Business Analyst Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

• Documenting data relationships and write basic SQL statements
• Implementing and managing standard testing procedures for system changes
• Facilitating requirement sessions with team members and building comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability of requests
• Facilitating user acceptance testing, documenting the test results, and helping procure business approvals
• Working with business owners/SMEs to understand automation opportunities and analyze them to identify process changes that need to happen
• Performing root cause analysis to identify solutions that address the true source of issues
• Actively participating in project phases and report status updates to the Project Manager, including feasibility, requirements, development, quality assurance (QA), implementation, and maintenance

You have:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, business management, finance, or a related field
• Consulting experience required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
• Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
• Experience working with Product Owners and creating Features and User Stories
• Knowledge/experience with Agile methodologies

You might also have:

• SQL, Tableau and/or PowerBI experience highly desirable
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in creating Test case scripts for regression/functional testing.
