About the Job
Top Gun Staffing Group LLC has partnered with a full-service Third-Party Administrator in the Greater Boston area to help them identify a Business Analyst to join their team! The Business Analyst will be responsible for synthesizing business requirements into technical requirements for software development, managing core application testing and upgrades, and performing technical writing in support of having multiple departments and partners interact and create value together. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
- Manage and coordinate Javelina claims system upgrade implementations.
- Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
- Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives.
- Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.
- Participate in smoke and regression testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role.
- Use of BCBS systems and SME on health care claim software is a HUGE PLUS!!
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Work Location
- 100% Remote
Salary Range
$80,000 - $90,000/year + generous benefits package
