Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable and efficient software tools, supporting our clients’ Payments platforms and operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and ensure the successful implementation of tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Tool Development:
- Assist in designing and developing scalable, efficient software tools for clients' Payments platforms.
- Ensure tools meet operational and technical requirements for optimal performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and define practical solutions.

- Collaborate with internal business groups to gain a deep understanding of processes and operations.

- Work closely with developers to understand data structures, sources, and systematic processes during development.
- Identify and resolve systematic and data integrity issues across multiple systems to ensure consistent functionality.

- Liaise with cross-functional teams to promote best practices and maintain end-to-end process consistency.
- Critically evaluate data and insights from multiple sources to reconcile variances and recommend proposals.

Reporting and Metrics:
- Develop, build, and maintain reports and dashboards containing actionable metrics to monitor operations' performance effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Data Analyst.
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Data Analyst.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data.
- Familiarity with working on the command line, executing Python scripts, and navigating log directories to analyze logs.

Agile & Jira Proficiency:
- Proven experience working in Agile teams.
- Ability to create detailed business and technical user stories in Jira.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred):
- Experience working with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae systems is highly desirable.

10+ years of hands-on experience with Murex, including settlements, trade booking, workflows, and reporting modules. 8+ years of experience in a leadership role supporting Murex-related operations. In-depth knowledge of fixed-income derivatives processing, trade lifecycle, and related capital markets. IRD/CRD expertise required; MM/FX experience preferred. Familiarity with industry platforms such as Markitwire and Icelink. Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the derivatives space. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in project and test management.
