- HealthCare Payer Operations
- Analyze, design, build, and test changes to client Medicaid Enterprise applications for one or more of the following functional areas: Provider, Member, Claims Processing, and Payment.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements and ensure application development meets those requirements.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the application meets functional requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation that is accurate and consistent with current project standards.
- Take a hands-on approach with technical resources to design and implement necessary changes to meet technical requirements.
- Execute testing and defect resolutions with scrum teams.
- Identify, escalate, and manage project issues.
- The exact work location for onsite work would be Austin Texas but the office is currently shut down with individuals working remotely. The candidate though would need to be able to work the project hours and participate in all Agile and team meetings with access to video participation in those meetings.
- We will not be paying for any travel or expenses although project will issue a project laptop for the client work only.
- Interviews will be via Teams and will be video on interviews. I expect no more than 2 interviews for qualified resources.
Additional Job Details:
- 2+ year's functional analyst experience
- 5+ years QA experience including writing and executing test cases
- 3+ year's Healthcare payer experience
- 4+ years testing of web based applications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application development projects
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Texas based resource able to work the team hours to attend all stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.
- 2+ years of Medicaid experience
- 2+ years hands on practical experience working in Agile methodology
- Strong communication skills
- Functional experience on Medicaid Systems on Provider, Member, Payment and claims processing areas
- EDI testing experience including creation of X12 transactions using Specbuilder
- EDI transaction experience including 270/271, 835, and 837.
- Significant data conversion interface and API testing
