About the Job
L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Business Analyst. Responsibilities include:
- Engaging in requirements gathering and fit/gap analysis, supporting conceptual and detailed design efforts, and facilitating business process conversion in support of transitioning the a legacy system to a new system, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.
- Assisting in the testing of builds of the new system's functionality.
- Assisting with first level help desk queries.
- Management by assisting senior staff with developing user manuals/training materials, assisting agency users with conversion efforts, and assisting all users with the transition.
- 5 years of experience in performing requirements gathering and business analysis, producing written documentation of requirements, system design and implementation.
- 3 years of experience testing builds of an enterprise IT project, including defect reporting.
- 3 years of experience providing implementation support services for an enterprise IT project.
- 1 year of experience as a state employee or public/private consultant performing Business Analysis activities in support of a state enterprise or agency specific grants or financial management system.
