The Opportunity
This position is a remot opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. As a US Commercial Sales Business Alignment Manager you will serve the HCP, Trade and DME teams coordinating and driving initiatives across the team, ensuring input from key stakeholders and reporting to the Divisional Vice President. This opportunity can be onsite or remote requiring significant travel to Alameda, CA to coordinate with home office teams.
What You’ll Work On
- Provide recommendations for initiative strategy and execution
- Act as a member of HCP & Trade leadership team; organize team meetings, agenda, and follow up on agreed upon action items
- Sit in on meetings as needed when the VP is out or in key meetings when she/ he cannot be there live
- Oversee LBE (sales forecasting) process and modeling for HCP channel
- Interface with Sales Operations, Sales Training, Marketing, Market Access and other functions to coordinate the field sales team needs and feedback
- Coordinate and drive special projects moving them forward (NSM, Customer Business Development, Leadership Advisory Council, Culture transformation, etc.)
- Develop VP presentations, slide decks, weekly communications, and talking points for NSM, town halls, HCP team calls, etc by coordinating with various stakeholders
- Review business performance of regions in tandem with VP providing key feedback and identifying opportunities
- Help monitor and drive performance follow up for key market access opportunities
- Provide reporting of key initiatives to senior leadership and other key stakeholders in tandem with the VP
- Own schedule and project plan for US Comm leadership team, ensuring delivery of key initiatives, events, goals and milestones
- Manage other operational aspects of the team as appropriate
- Identify opportunities for simplification, activation, or acceleration
- Develop oneself through key business meetings, conferences, customer engagements as identified in conjunction with DVP.
Experience You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6 years Working in Healthcare or Life Sciences
Preferred
- Experience in a sales leadership role
- Experience in marketing operations, program management or product management
- MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.
- Strong presentation & communication skills, ability to present to senior executive stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, sound understanding of financial business drivers, project management and executional skills
- Ability to plan and execute complex projects, and mobilize cross functional resources toward program goals
- Product management experience in medical products or services preferred.
- Advanced Degree (MBA)

The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 – $250,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
