We are currently seeking enthusiastic Bus Drivers/Teachers to join our program. Open availability is preferred as you may occasionally be requested to work different shifts. Position Overview:
Our team is looking for high-energy, caring staff members to enrich the lives of children in our care. Previous experience is a plus, but not required. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan and implement creative, engaging experiences based on our curriculum and standards.
Assist children in meeting developmental milestones, conduct observations, and support with schoolwork or remote learning.
Ensure a safe and caring environment for children and families.
Actively supervise activities and maintain regular communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
Driver Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean driving record and safely transport children to/from school daily, adhering to all road, traffic, and safety regulations.
Supervise children during transport and maintain positive relationships with schools.
During summers, drivers may also lead and supervise field trips to off-site locations.
When not driving, drivers will be assigned as floaters and support various classrooms as needed.
Floater Responsibilities:
Begin each day in a designated classroom and assist with activities as directed by lead teachers.
Adapt lesson plans as necessary and provide support based on daily classroom needs.
Maintain regular daily schedules and cover different areas within the center.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required; preferred CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree.
Clean background check.
CPR/First Aid certification (must be completed within 90 days of hire).
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in child development or early childhood education.
Familiarity with curriculum and lesson planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a flexible schedule environment.
Basic computer skills and time-management abilities.
