About the Job
As the Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all buildings and facilities within the Wisconsin Country Club. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for our members and staff.
Responsibilities
- You will perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and facilities.
- We expect you to respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members to address any issues in a timely manner.
- You shall troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical circuits, and other mechanical equipment.
- HVAC, Electrical and/or Plumbing Certification preferred.
- You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on various equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
- Help maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for repairs and replacements.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- You will assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces, ensuring they are in good working order.
- We expect you to comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- You must have a strong knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to effectively troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise.
- We expect you to be highly skilled in general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry to ensure the facility is always in optimal condition for our Members.
- You should possess excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Having the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks will be essential in managing your workload and completing assignments in a timely manner.
- We require you to maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive measures, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and facilitate future reference.
- It is important that you have good communication skills to effectively interact with other team members and address their maintenance-related concerns or requests.
- We expect you to adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including following safety protocols and using protective equipment when necessary.
