The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Army Guard Facilities Maintenance Office, is recruiting for a Building Maintenance Generalist Sub Journey 2 position!
This position is in the LTC bargaining unit and paid at range 56.
What you will be doing:
Would you like to provide assistance to others by performing the more routine, nonspecialized and repetitive tasks that do not require the more specialized skills. Basic tasks are performed independently and those of progressive difficulty are performed under direct supervision until your proficiency is demonstrated. This level will require the application and demonstration of the knowledge and skills related to the materials and techniques of building maintenance and component sub-systems, and routine and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical and related systems. Work may be concentrated on one-well developed area performed under less close supervision, or a range of semi-skilled duties in one or more skilled trades.

Mechanical: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, installation, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Clerical: Knowledge of filing, typing, entering data, maintaining records, and using and completing forms
