Building Inspector II - City of Seabrook

Job Summary: The position is responsible for performing inspections of new and remodeled residential and/or commercial buildings to ensure compliance with the City building codes, ordinances and inspection processes. Coordinates inspections with contractors and advises citizens and contractors of building procedures and city policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience
• Valid Class "C" Texas drivers license
• Possession of current State of Texas Plumbing License
• Possession of International Code Congress (ICC) Certificates for Residential Building Inspector; Plumbing Inspector; Mechanical Inspector, and Electrical Inspector
