- Develop, manage, and update 3D BIM models for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Conduct clash detection, resolve conflicts, and enhance model efficiency using industry-standard BIM tools.
- Implement and maintain BIM standards and workflows across all projects.
- Generate detailed construction documents and drawings from BIM models.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with design and engineering standards.
- Assist in training team members on BIM software and workflows.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to integrate new technologies and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed Structural Engineer or Professional Engineer preferred.
- Experience in a similar role or field, with a willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific practices.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
