Job Title: Building Engineer/HVAC Mechanic
Location: Fitchburg, MA
Duration: Full Time (Permanent)
H.V.A.C Level I- Qualifications: One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license.
H.V.A.C Level II - Qualifications: One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: Supervisor Responsibilities, HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license.
H.V.A.C Level III - Qualifications: HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. (Excess of 10 tons). One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: HVAC Responsibilities.
H.V.A.C Level IV - Qualifications: HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. (Excess of 10 tons). One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: Supervisor Duties, HVAC Responsibilities.
Building Engineer must have a minimum of (5-8) years' experience in building maintenance and operation, maintaining facilities and working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
HVAC Mechanic must be competent to perform operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on Client, boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems.
Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Must Have
High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
Technical training in HVAC is highly desired.
Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License or HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license required.
