Building Engineer - Downtown Boston
Our client, a prominent real estate firm, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer for one of their commercial properties located in downtown Boston. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and comfort of the building, all while benefiting from a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Use software to address tenant requests and enhance overall comfort.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are executed effectively.
- Supervise vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in managing capital projects, ensuring they meet building regulations.
- Lead emergency response training and enforce safety procedures.
- Keep accurate records of building information and systems.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 3 years of experience in building operations with strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with trade school certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, or building control systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal building performance.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $30-$35/hr, with overtime opportunities.
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus.
