Building Engineer (3rd shift) Bush Intercontinental Airport - TDIndustries

Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components in HVAC, electrical equipment and plumbing systems.

Schedule/Shift:4 day work week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) 3 consecutive days off (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

(1) 12 hr. weekend shift   7:00 pm - 7:00 am 

(1) 10 hr. shift                9:00 pm - 7:00 am 

(2) 8 hr. shifts                11:00 pm - 7:00 am

• Performs planned maintenance, repairs, modifications and general facility maintenance.
• Responds to Facility Service Work Orders from building occupants.
• Requests may include plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing and electrical.
• Diagnoses building management/energy management systems for faults and errors.
• Assists other technicians in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems. Interprets blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately.
• Takes readings from nominal equipment and makes timely entry into appropriate logs.
• Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue and do not need further calibration or adjustment.
• Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Observes and complies with all company safety policies.
• Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests.
• Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.

• Minimum of 2 years of Building Maintenance experience 
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing or drywall required.
• Must be able to pass a Federal Customs background check.
